PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible product package having a resealable closure.;SOLUTION: A package comprises a flexible container 10 with side walls, each having edge portions 22, 24 which are in relationship of being superposed on each other and are separable from each other to create an opening in the container, the respective edge portions 22, 24 of each side wall, which are provided in confronted relation with each other and are sealed together with an adhesive, a layer of a pressure-sensitive adhesive being applied to the inner surface of at least one of the edge portions, and a layer of a cohesive adhesive being applied to the inner surfaces of both the edge portions 22, 24 and covering the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The package includes seals (26), 28 formed by mutually sealing the cohesive adhesive layers at the edge portions 22, 24. Each top seal may be resealed by pressing the edge portions 22, 24 of both the side walls together to reattach the other side wall to a region where the pressure-sensitive adhesive is detached from one side wall.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
