PURPOSE:To obtain the subject modifier capable of preventing shrinkage in curing and molding and simultaneously improving transparency of a cured molded article, by using a prescribed unsaturated urethane resin and a radically polymerized cross-linked polymer particles. CONSTITUTION:This modifier comprises cross-linked polymer particles which are obtained by radically copolymerizing an unsaturated urethane resin composed of an unsaturated urethane obtained by urethanizing (A) an unsaturated monool of formula I or formula II (Y1 is a residue after removal of OH from a bi or trivalent among a polyhydric alcohol, a polyether polyol, a polyester polyol or a polyether ester polyol; Y2 is a residue after removal of OH from a trihydric alcohol; R1 and R2 are each H or CH3; R3 is a 5-21C aliphatic hyrocarbon; (m) is 1 or 2) with (B) a diisocyanate compound, and further radically polymerizing (C) an unsaturated urethane containing a copolymerizable (meth)acrylic ester and contain 5-60mol% unreacted radically polymerizable group based on the whole radically polymerizable groups.
