PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior-wall installation structure, in which inundation into a wall can be prevented surely, a seal fitting used for it, an exterior wall board and a method for installing an exterior wall. SOLUTION: In the exterior-wall installation structure 1, the left and the right of the exterior wall board 2 are shiplap-joined while fasteners 5 are arranged at the upper and lower sections of the exterior wall board, and the exterior wall board 2 is installed at a substrate 3. The lateral lower tongue 24 of the exterior wall board 2 has a rear-side end section 241 and a notched recessed section 25 notched to the center side of the exterior wall board 2. A lateral upper tongue 23 has a surface-side end section 231. The seal fitting 4 is disposed between the surface-side end section 231 and the exterior wall board 2. The seal fitting 4 has a substrate section 41, an erecting section 42, a front board section 43 and a front elastic material 44. The erecting section 42 is abutted against the side face of the lateral lower tongue 24 of the exterior wall board 2, and the front board section 43 retains the front of the lateral lower tongue 24 of the exterior wall board 2. The front elastic material 44 is stuck fast to the front internal surface 251 of the notched recessed section 25 and the rear-side face 232 of the surface-side end section 231.
