PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of the dielectric strength of an insulating spacer even when a lightning impulse is applied across the spacer after the surface is electrified by setting the position of a conductor connecting section on the surface of the spacer upon which a specific magnitude of electric field is impressed so that lines of electric force from the conductor connecting section can intersect a specific part on the surface of the spacer. ;CONSTITUTION: The G in the figure represents the part of the hollow surface of an insulating spacer 20 upon which 70 % of the maximum value of an electric field is impressed when a lightning impulse is applied across the surface and the H represents the part of the surface of the spacer 20 upon which ≥70% of the maximum value of the electric field is impressed. A conductor connecting section 40 is positioned against the spacer 20 so that lines X of electric force from the end part Y of the section 40 can intersect the part H.
