AUTOMATIC SORTING AND FILLING SYSTEM FOR STRAWBERRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic sorting and filling system for a strawberry solving the problem that much labor has be consumed in strawberry sorting and filling work.;SOLUTION: This automatic sorting and filling system is equipped with a supply device capable of supplying strawberries housed in a container to feeders capable of holding/releasing bines of strawberries, a distributor for discriminating grades of strawberries fed by the feeders and capable of distributing the feeders for feeding strawberries according to the discriminated grades and two or more filling devices capable of filling strawberry filling containers with strawberries during feed by the distributed feeders. The supply device, the distributor and the filling devices are equipped with guide rails for guiding the feeders and drive mechanisms for transferring the feeders along the guide rails. These guide rails are mutually connected by conveyors and the feeders can be circulated to the supply device, the distributor and the filling devices.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
