QUALITY GUARANTEEING SYSTEM OF VOICE SPEED IN IP NETWORK AND METHOD FOR GUARANTEEING QUALITY OF VOICE SPEED IN IP NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a conventional 'voice speech' by an IP network, a call origination is limited to a previously assigned band so that a using band does not exceed the assigned band to guarantee the quality of a connected call, but this method previously fixedly assigns the band and hence the limited band cannot be effectively used.;SOLUTION: A channel designing function 2 calculates a traffic to each ground in the network, calculates the optimum number of virtual trunks based on the traffic and a loss-call rate to each ground and calculates a policy value at each link based on the traffic. A channel mounting function 3 sets the calculated policy value to each unit in the network. A call connecting function 4 counts an actual call origination, and decides a loss-call when the call origination is the number of the virtual trunks or more. A quality managing function 5 measures the quality by transmitting and receiving a test packet in the network. A policy manager 1 compares the calculated result of the policy value with the state in the network based on the quality measured result and a daily report of loss-call information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
