PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preheating water supply type hot water supply control method continuing a hot water supply operation even when there are something wrong or abnormal in temperature sensors.;SOLUTION: After hot water from a preheating water supply pipe 9 and cold water from a non-preheating water supply pipe 10 are variably mixed and controlled its temperature, the mixed water is allowed to enter in an inflow pipe 4, heated by a heat exchanger 2, and delivered to a hot water delivery pipe 6. When a hot water temperature sensor 13 and a cold water temperature sensor 14 used for controlling the temperature are broken down or abnormal, the hot water flow in the mixing control valve 7 is fully closed, the cold water flow is fully opened, and the hot water delivery control itself is continued based on an inflow temperature sensor 15. When the hot water temperature sensor and the inflow temperature sensor are broken down or abnormal, the hot water flow is fully closed, the cold water flow is fully opened, and the hot water delivery control itself is continued using the detection value of the cold water temperature sensor as the inflow temperature. When the hot water temperature sensor and the cold water temperature sensor are broken down or abnormal, the hot water delivery control may be continued, while continuously adjusting the temperature by increasing/decreasing the control mixing rate right before the breakdown according to the change in the detection value of the inflow temperature sensor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
