PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform asynchronous radio communication without especially arranging a device to be a control station.;SOLUTION: Each piece of communication equipment can acquire synchronization on the basis of a reference timing signal received from a timing generator. Consequently, addition of a preamble signal with high redundancy before information transmission for acquiring initial synchronization is not necessary even in UWB (ultra wide band) radio communication in which no carrier such as in the conventional radio communication exists. For receiving an asynchronous signal, detection of presence/absence of a signal by taking extremely long time is not necessary. High-speed asynchronous radio communication is realized by applying an access control system of this invention to the UWB radio communication.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
