PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stored seed quality holding material capable of sustaining effects for a long period in a small amount without producing dust in operation to fill a seed packaging bag and having no water nor moisture absorbing ability to provide a stored seed housing container and a seed pack for transportation using the same.;SOLUTION: This stored seed quality holding material comprises an aggregate having a small water and moisture absorbing ability and a coating applied to the aggregate and having an ability to degrade a carbonyl compound. The aggregate is lightweight and the coating exhibits the ability to degrade the carbonyl compound without irradiation with light. The stored seed housing container is provided with the container having the small water and moisture absorbing ability and the coating applied to the inner surface thereof and having the ability to degrade the carbonyl compound.
