PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase speed of deformation simulation of a mold.;SOLUTION: Unit pressure is applied to an arbitrary unit region of a contact surface with a material. Deformation quantity of the whole region of the contact surface at this time is stored at every individual unit region. A condition for molding the material in the mold is inputted. Pressure distribution of the contact surface at the time of molding is operated on the basis of the inputted condition at every unit time. The deformation quantity of the whole region of the contact surface at the time of molding is operated at every unit time from the operated pressure distribution and the stored deformation quantity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
