PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus-containing resol-type phenol resin having an excellent flame retardancy and hydrolytic resistance without using an organohalogenic flame retardant but using a reactive flame retardant generating no such breed-out that caused by an additive flame retardant and giving no phosphorus component deriving from elusion by hydrolysis, its production method, a phenol resin composition and a laminated board each using the same. ;SOLUTION: The resol-type phenol resin contains a constituting unit derived from at least one phosphorus-containing compound selected from a group consisting of phosphorus-containing compounds represented by a specific formula.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
