PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a home page provider to collectively and easily carry out registration into a plurality of retrieval devices without any duplicative input.;SOLUTION: The collective registration device receives an URS register screen from the plurality of retrieval devices, creates URL registration screen information and registers it into an URL registration screen memory. In response to a request from a user terminal, the collective registration device transmits a retrieval device selecting screen to the user terminal, receives retrieval device selecting information from the user terminal, extracts the corresponding URL registration screen information from the URL registration screen memory on the basis of the retrieval device selecting information, and extracts input items from the URL registration screen information without duplication. Furthermore, the collective registration device creates a collective registration screen by using these input items, transmits the collective registration screen thus created to the user terminal, receives registration information input by the user terminal, reconstructs the registration information into registration format of each retrieval device, and carries out registration, alteration or deletion process on each retrieval device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
