EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT REINFORCED CONSTRICTION AND METHOD USED FOR REPAIRING FOR EXISTING VERANDA IN COMMON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remodel and reconstruct an existing veranda without dismantling it for improving the earthquake-resisting performance of the existing building and their methods for the earthquake-resistant reinforced construction.;SOLUTION: A foundation 5 is built at an outer side of the veranda 2 of the existing building 1; on the top of the foundation 5, a precast column 18 and a precast beam 10 with a support for the veranda is constructed as the supporting column 18 united with the beam thereby forming an outer frame 30; and the support 12 for the veranda 2 united with the column 18 is located bellow the existing veranda 2; the existing veranda 2 is remodeled and reconstructed; and a seismic force acting on the existing building through the support 12 for the veranda can be born by the outer frame 30 as a feature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
