The spacer bracket (2) forming a pivoting connection between the distal and proximal aiming devices (4, 5) comprises two telescopic parts (8, 9) to make it length adjustable. The bracket can be pivoted perpendicular to the plane of the guide boring or nail groove central axes, about a joint (3) in the proximal aiming device. The arms of the distal and proximal aiming devices contain guide borings (10, 13, 13) in their wide end regions. The intramedullary nail (6) is joined firmly via an arm to the proximal aiming device, which is connected to the distal aiming device via a pivoting, adjustable spacer bracket. The distance between the end of the nail and the distal aiming device is set using a spacer element (1), so that the guide boring central axes are flush with the central axes of grooves or borings in the nail that communicate with these guide borings.
