COLOR DEVELOPER COMPOSITION FOR PRESSURE-SENSITIVE COPYING PAPER AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE COPYING PAPER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color developer composition for a pressure-sensitive copying paper which manifests both of a high initial coloring speed and a high coloring density; and a pressure-sensitive copying paper.;SOLUTION: For this color developer composition, an alkylene oxide added compound of a specified styrene group substituted phenol is blended in a color developer of which the main component is a polyvalent metal salt of a specified salicylic acid derivative. Using such a color developer composition, a water-soluble dispersion is formed and is applied on a supporting body, and thus, this pressure-sensitive copying paper having a color developer layer is formed. Also, a favorable method regarding the manufacturing method for the water-soluble dispersion of the color developer is disclosed as well.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
