PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet print material for an illuminated sign which can be adequately printed by an ink jet printer provided with a water-base ink, has no differences in hues during the daytime and nighttime (during lighting of fluorescent lamps) even when installed to the illuminated sign and has good color developability and water resistance, an ink jet print plate for the illuminated sign and an illuminated sign.;SOLUTION: The ink jet print material for the illuminated sign which is printed by the ink jet printer and is illuminated from its back has a surface layer of a water-base ink absorption layer subjected to printing by the ink jet printer, intermediate layer of the water-base ink absorption layer, support layer, tacky adhesive layer, and release film layer peelable from the tacky adhesive, in which the total ray transmittance measured pursuant to JIS K 7105 is 8 to 60%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
