PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail survey service for enabling an answerer to answer while keeping an e-mail address of one's own terminal anonymous.;SOLUTION: This e-mail transfer system has a transfer log database 12 for recording an upstream side terminal being a transmitter of forward received e-mail so as to correspond to identification information 23 recorded on the forward received e-mail, a mail content analyzing part 13 for extracting backward received e-mail from the e-mail by analyzing the content of the e-mail in response to reception of the e-mail, a backward e-mail processing part 16 for processing the backward received e-mail into backward transmission e-mail, and a backward e-mail transmitting part 17 for transmitting the backward transmission e-mail to the upstream side terminal corresponding to the identification information 23 recorded on the backward received e-mail by referring to the transfer log database 12. When the upstream side terminals are e-mail transfer terminals 5-1 to 5-n, the backward e-mail is transferred by inversely following order of the e-mail transfer terminals 5-1 to 5-n through which the forward e-mail has been transferred.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
