PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a making method of a color two-dimensional code capable of increasing a recordable data quantity, and readable without depending on a characteristic of a scanner.;SOLUTION: This purpose can be attained by a color two-dimensional code making method having a step of selecting a combination of one color according to the gradation number expressible by a minimum dot of a printer for printing a two-dimensional color code from a combination of a plurality of predetermined colors or the plurality of colors including the concentration or luminance, a step of blocking an information bit train with every n bit according to the gradation number expressible by the minimum bit of the printer for printing the two-dimensional color code, a step of making respective blocks correspond to respective cells, a step of selecting a color corresponding to a value for expressing the n bit of the blocks from the combination of the one color, a step of printing the respective cells by a corresponding color, a step of printing information for discriminating the combination of the one color, and a step of printing the combination of the one color.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
