PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enhancing the communication quality in a transmission line provided with many metallic cables. PSOLUTION: The method inspects property of a communication state by a set of particular metallic cables among may metallic cables 2, 3 installed in the transmission line 1 closely to each other. An inspection signal is supplied to one metallic cable and an interference signal caused in other metallic cables due to the flowing of the inspection signal and the propriety of the communication state due to the set of the particular metallic cables on the basis of a relation between the inspection signal and the interference signal.
