STEREOPHONIC SOUND RECORDING MICROPHONE UNIT, METHOD FOR RECORDING STEREOPHONIC SOUND AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING STEREOPHONIC SOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereophonic sound recording microphone unit capable of recording/ reproducing a stereophonic sound so that sound source localizations of three directions of an X-axis direction, a Y-axis direction and a Z-axis direction are observed, and to provide a method for recording the stereophonic sound and a method for reproducing the stereophonic sound. ;SOLUTION: Microphones MR, ML are directed in substantially opposite directions at a lower part, and two microphones MF, MB are directed in opposite directions at an upper part. The stereophonic sound recording microphone unit A is connected to two stereophonic recorder/reproducer 2, 5 via cords 6, 7 to execute double stereophonic recordings in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction. The stereophonic recordings in the lateral direction are executed by the microphones MR, ML, and the stereophonic recording in the lateral direction is executed by the microphones MF, MB. This is used also for the stereophonic recording in the vertical direction for executing the double stereophonic recordings. The recorder/reproducer 2, 5 are connected to four speakers SR, SL, SF and SB via cords 10, 11 to execute the double stereophonic recording in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. Two lower position side speakers SR, SL and two higher position side speakers SF, SB execute reproducing of the stereophonic recording in the lateral direction and reproducing of the stereophonic recording in the longitudinal direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
