PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferromagnetic nano-sized particles having coercive forces Hc of 95.5 kA/m, a material which is coated with the nano-sized particles and excellent in industrial applicability and to which little particles are melt- stuck, and a magnetic recording medium using the material coated with the nano-sized particles. PSOLUTION: The ferromagnetic nano-sized particles are manufactured by reducing two or more kinds of metals having different reduction potentials in two or more steps under the presence of a polymer by using two or more kinds of reducing agents having different reduction potentials. The material coated with the nano-sized particles is formed by applying a liquid in which the nano-sized particles are dispersed to a nonmagnetic substrate.
