PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to listen musical sound generated by a desired musical instrument on the basis of the user's own playing operation even though the instrument does not exist in the vicinity of the user.;SOLUTION: A communication terminal 11 transmits music data including specification of the pitch of a music to a playing sound providing device 21. The device 21 commands an automatic playing musical instrument 23 to conduct an automatic playing employing the music data received from the terminal 11 and playing sound data representing the sound generated by the automatic playing of the instrument 23 are transmitted to the terminal 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
