PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the hardening time of a hydration curing calcium phosphate paste capable of easily controlling the hardening time of the calcium phosphate paste without changing the composition, etc., of the paste. PSOLUTION: The method of controlling the hardening time of the hydration curing calcium phosphate paste is a method of controlling the hardening time of the hydration curing calcium phosphate paste prepared by mixing calcium phosphate powder (preferably essentially consisting of calcium hydrogenphosphate and tetracalcium phosphate) and water or a hardening liquid containing the water, in which the hardening time of the hydration curing calcium phosphate paste is controlled by heat treating the calcium phosphate powder by previously controlling at least either of a heating temperature (preferably 40 to 160C) and heating time (preferably 24 hours).
