摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wettability and dispersibility-in-solution of a carbon material in a method for manufacturing a metal-added carbon material by adding a metal to the carbon material. PSOLUTION: The carbon material containing impurities such as a metallic catalyst and amorphous carbon is heat-treated in a mixed solution of oxygenated water with an acid and then subjected to metal-adding treatment. Several kinds of impurities containing the unpurified carbon material can be removed efficiently at the same time by the heat-treatment in the mixed solution of oxygenated water and the acid. Since a hydroxy group is introduced onto the surface of the carbon material purified by the heat-treatment, the hydrophilicity of the surface is improved and the dispersibility of the carbon material in a hydrophilic solvent is made excellent, the metal to be added can be added uniformly to the carbon material.
