PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for helicopter-satellite communication, capable of informing a transmission interruption state in a communication system for communicating between a helicopter and a ground station via the satellite as well as a relatively low cost helicopter satellite communication equipment of small size configuration and a ground station communication equipment.;SOLUTION: The method for the helicopter-satellite communication comprises the steps of estimating timing of shutting off, in the transmission beam direction, with rotary blades by a shut-off timing estimating unit 15, generating a command signal for stopping transmission of a timing frame to be superposed on the shut-off timing to be input from the estimating unit 15 by a frame processing unit 17, and adding a number-of-non-transmission frames signal which describes the number of the timing frames not transmitted to the timing frame before interruption of the transmission.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
