PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for further certainly retaining a plug of an extension power cord to a power tool.;SOLUTION: A retaining member retains the power cord/plug engaged with a power source jack in a housing 12a of the power tool and moves from a fixing release position to a fixing position in the housing of the power tool. In one embodiment, the retaining member slides in the housing. In another embodiment, the retaining member rotates in the housing. The power cord/plug is retained at a predetermined position by engaging with the power source jack in the housing at the fixing position. In one embodiment, a release member is manually released by a user and the retaining member can be left and moved from the power source jack. Thereby, the release member having an urging element fixes the retaining member to a predetermined position until removal of the plug from the power source jack is permitted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
