SOLUTION: Personal computers 3 provided in houses of people and a personal computer 5 provided in a printing office are connected through the Internet 7, and originals are received by mail through the Internet 7, divided by respective writers and stored in a storage device 9 for storing the originals. In the case that the total number of pages of the stored originals of a plurality of the writers becomes the prescribed number of the pages with which one book can be published, the prescribed number of copies of the book are published on the basis of the stored originals of a plurality of the writers. Also, the respective writers are made to purchase a part or all of the published book by a distribution ratio corresponding to the number of original pages of the respective writers. By the respective writers' presenting/selling the book to friends and acquaintances, etc., each book is read by many people. Also, it can be sold to a third person by electronic publication.
