AEROBIC BIOTREATMENT METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR ORGANIC SEWAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerobic biotreatment method and an equipment for organic sewage which hardly produce excess sludge by extremely simple treating means. SOLUTION: The equipment for subjecting the organic sewage to a aerobic biotreatment is provided with a biotreatment vessel 1 for subjecting the organic sewage 5 to the biotreatment, a pump 3 for withdrawing the activated sludge slurry in the biotreatment vessel, an ultrasonic treating equipment 4 for irradiating the withdrawn sludge with ultrasonic waves and a dropping means 8 for dropping the ultrasonically treated sewage in the form of a waterfall to the water surface of the biotreatment vessel and is provided with a route successively connecting these equipments, such as the vessel 1 and the pump 3. The pump 3 for withdrawing the activated sludge slurry is provided with a control means for setting the flow rate of the sludge to be withdrawn at =10 times the amount of the excess activated sludge solid generated in a standard activated sludge method.
