PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cipher key capable of preventing data in a personal computer from being easily read by a third person by setting up cipher algorithm constituted so as not to be easily deciphered.;SOLUTION: A cipher key 1 constituted so as to be optionally loaded/ unloaded to/from a personal computer (PC) 2 capable of enciphering or deciphering data by using a key is provided with a false random number generator 14 for generating a false random number of a chaos group on the basis of the data size of data, a chaos function and the initial value of the chaos function and a USB controller 12 for receiving the data size of data from the PC 2 when the controller 12 is loaded on the PC 2 and transmitting the false random number of the chaos group which is generated from the generator 14 to the PC 2 as the key.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
