METHOD FOR DETECTING AND ELIMINATING PULSED NOISE BY DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and eliminate pulse noise which is generated when reproducing an analog disk or the like.;SOLUTION: When detecting the pulsed noise, detection accuracy is improved by introducing an index on whether it is a self-correlative function or single peak property as a means for deciding whether or not noise is a part of musical sounds which is difficult to decide in conventional technology. Besides, by using a linear predictive method as a noise eliminating method, reproducibility of an original audio signal is improved and an influence of an erroneously detected block upon the original audio signal is suppressed to a minimum.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
