PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in conventional high footgear that it is not easily adjustable in height and lacks in stability.;SOLUTION: This high footgear comprises a footrest 1 connected to a leg body through a leg guard 4 to hold the strengths of the leg body and the footrest, an auxiliary leg 5 extensively and contractively inserted to the leg body 3 to be adjustable in leg height, and a foot metal fitting 6 replaceably inserted to the auxiliary leg 5. The leg guard 4 of this high footgear is strengthened by forming a round part thereon, the footgear is stabilized by closely fitting the shin to the leg guard, and the round part of an ankle contact part 12 prevents the compression of the ankle. Hook-and-loop fasteners are used for a leg guard fixing belt 14, a foot top fixing belt 15 and an ankle fixing belt 16, so that they are released from the hook part of a safety belt when a certain force is applied thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
