PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a measure to prevent hot water from vaporizing in a heat exchanger for the boiler of a gas turbine device without wasteful use of water and an increase in the cost of incidental facilities in simple and small space structure. SOLUTION: This gas turbine device is provided with a gas turbine engine 1 having a compressor 4, a combustor 6, a turbine 5 and an exhaust unit 8, and a generator 3 driven by the gas turbine engine 1. The exhaust unit 8 is arranged with a heat exchanger 102, which produce hot water by exchanging the heat of the exhaust gas E from the gas turbine engine 1. The hot water from the heat exchanger 102 is reserved in a hot water reservoir 131, and the reserved hot water is supplied to the heat exchanger 102. The exhaust gas E is introduced into a first exhaust passage 114 leading to the outside through the heat exchanger 102 and a second exhaust passage leading to the outside bypassing the heat exchanger 102 by a selector valve 113 selectively. The selector valve 113 is driven by an actuator 120 when the temperature of the hot water in the hot water reservoir 131 is higher than a specified value to introduce the exhaust gas into the second exhaust passage 114.
