PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the constitution of a satellite communication terminal equipment having a repeater function of a conventional satellite communication system is complicated by the presence of two kinds of air interfaces, one in a base station and another in a terminal.;SOLUTION: A satellite communication terminal station 1 is so constituted that communication is enabled via a base station 3 and a satellite 4. In order to use the satellite communication terminal station 1 as a repeater between a base station 3 and a satellite communication terminal station 2, two antennas are installed for communication with the base station 3 and the satellite communication terminal station 2. The receiving destination and transmitting destination of a receiving RF part and a transmitting RF part which are connected in cascade are switched over depending upon the direction of communication, thereby enabling bilateral communication.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
