PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumer with access a digital receipt generated as a result of a purchase transaction between the consumer and a dealer and stored by the dealer. SOLUTION: A retail terminal for communicating with a network and a printer capable of printing a network address in a machine-readable form, and an addressable storage medium for communicating with the network are provided. The retail terminal generates the digital receipt that corresponds to the purchase transaction, acquires a network address corresponding to a storage place of the digital receipt in the addressable storage medium, stores the digital receipt in the network address in the addressable storage medium, provides the printer with the network address, and can operate so as to make the network address to be printed in a printer machine-readable form. The address allows the consumer to access applications, program and functions related to the stored digital receipt.
