PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a stable service to a customer even if a server becomes incapable of offering the service properly.;SOLUTION: In this service request proxy method for offering a service instead of a first server offering the service in compliance with a service request, a condition of the first server is monitored, and if it is determined to be incapable of properly offering the service, the service request to the first server is transferred. The transferred service request is acquired by a second server to be held in a storage part, and the condition of the first server is determined. When it is determined that the condition of the first server becomes capable of properly offering the service, the service request held in the storage part is informed to the first server.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
