PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy calculating method, an energy calculating device, an energy calculating system, a computer program, and a recording medium for calculating with high reliability by preventing a fall in the number of populations while adding various elements in the case of calculating a value to be the standard of energy consumption.;SOLUTION: Element values respectively indicating a plurality of elements related to energy consumption are accepted (step S9). The element values and energy values recorded in an element item with the accepted element values as data are extracted from a plurality of records in the energy database that records the element values and energy values correspondingly (steps S10, 11). The respective extracted element values and energy values are made explanatory variables and object variables to compute a multiple regression expression (step S12), and a calculated energy value to be the reference of comparison is calculated by substituting the accepted element value in the computed multiple regression expression (step S13).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
