PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method and a control method, capable of selecting a method which is most effective and lowest cost among a number of the control methods if Doppler sifts, etc., occur by predicting occurrences of the Doppler shifts, etc., as radio wave transmission/reception troubles of the broadcasting antenna in design steps, when mounting the broadcasting antenna on the steel tower and steel mast.;SOLUTION: The design method and control method, corresponding to the radio wave transmitting/receiving troubles when mounting the broadcasting antenna on the steel tower and steel mast execute checkings for deflections of antenna mounting points, calculations of proper vibration counts of the steel tower and steel mast, checks for resonance with wind loads and checks for forced vibrations in strong windy weather, after checking strengths of the steel tower and steel mast. If the occurrences of the Doppler shifts, etc., are predicted, the checks for the strengths, deflections, resonance and forced vibrations are executed by using an analysis model instituted each measure, and cost and effectiveness are evaluated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
