PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that since the rotation axis of an observation target 11 is required to perpendicularly cross to an xy plane, for example, in the case where the orbit of an aircraft moves on a curve by turbulence of an air current or where the orbit draws an arc along the surface of the globe by long observation time, an image of an observation target 11 is deteriorated. ;SOLUTION: A phase error contained in a received signal of a transmitter- receiver is compensated in consideration of the orbit of a radar platform and the position of the observation target 11. Thereby, even if a transmit-receive antenna 21 moves on the curve, a high resolution image of a target can be observed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
