PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of obtaining a sufficient deflection angle while securing the resonance frequency of a reflection mirror part. ;SOLUTION: This optical scanner 1 performs scanning with light by changing the reflecting direction of the light made incident on the reflection mirror part 8 by vibrating at least a part of the vibrating body 5 having the mirror part 8. In the scanner 1, the vibrating body 5 is provided with a 1st torsion spring part 9 coupled with the mirror part 8 and causing torsional displacement by the vibration, and a 2nd torsion spring part 10 coupled with the spring part 9 and also coupled with the fixed frame part 7 of the vibrating body 5 by leaving space wider than the width of the spring part 9 and also causing the torsional displacement by the vibration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
