PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present an ultraminiature water quality measuring instrument suitable for precisely monitoring the quality of water supplied to users of tap water by reducing the effect of surge due to the opening/closing of solenoid valves to enhance analysis stability and reliability in the analyzing section of an on-line water quality measuring instrument by miniaturizing the instrument without impairing reliability, and to reduce water hammering known to occur in the ultraminiature water quality measuring instrument.;SOLUTION: A surge tank is arranged in a pipe connected to the analyzing section of a unitized water quality measuring instrument to construct a piping structure for suppressing the effect of bubbles generating upon switching-over of electromagnetic valves, and this enhances analysis stability and reliability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
