PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing the presence of microorganism in a gaseous environment comprising hydrogen peroxide, and to provide a cassette containing an agar growth medium that is adapted for execution in the method.;SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of bringing the gaseous environment comprising the hydrogen peroxide into contact with an agar growth medium, comprising a salt of pyruvic acid (i), placing the growth medium in an environment favoring the development of colonies of microorganisms (ii), and determining the presence of colonies of microorganisms which may have developed during the process (ii) (iii), thus eliminating the risk of false negative in a pyruvic acid and executing the test of the presence of microorganism that is present at the boundary of gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
