HUMAN CCN LIKE GROWTH FACTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new human CCN like growth factor and a polynucleotide encoding the same. SOLUTION: The human small CCN like growth factor polypeptide (SCGF), a DNA (RNA) encoding such polypeptide and a method for producing such polypeptide by a recombinant technique are disclosed. Also, a method for utilizing such polypeptide for the cure of wound or regeneration of tissue, fixation of a transplanted piece and angiogenesis is further disclosed.
