PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical seal having strength within a standard without generating a blister and a crack even if it is used for a sliding part of a coolant compressor using a carbon dioxide coolant.;SOLUTION: The sealing rubber composition containing a hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition as a main component, the O ring 1 using it and the mechanical seal used in the coolant compressor 2 using the carbon dioxide coolant are provided.
