PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the need to enhance guest satisfaction by attaching importance to a change of management style, in view of the fact that the operation rates of hot-spring hotels are generally low.;SOLUTION: The method of activating hot-spring hotels reflects not only hotel operators' points of view but also guests' points of view on their management policies. To obtain necessary information from guests, the operators create a common questionnaire to rate the rooms of the hot-spring hotels according to accommodation charges and registers it in a server. Guests collect via the Internet information about the desired host-spring hotels and stay at the hotels. The guests fill the questionnaire to contribute to enhancing hotel quality and send the results to the server via the Internet. A server manager analyzes and evaluates the hotels according to guest information to find the advantages and disadvantages of each hotel. The hotel operators combine the results of evaluations based on the guests' points of view with their own administration skills to activate the hotels and provide high-quality and low-priced facilities to activate the hotel industry.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
