PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for supporting the planning of order entry/order placement, with a decision-making mechanism enabling negotiation about quantities on an equal basis for a product and its parts, thus allowing adjustments of quantities to be smoothly spread.;SOLUTION: A support system for the planning of order entry/order placement includes a customer side data assembly 1 retaining time-series data about a customer-requested quantity 4, a customer-oriented determined quantity 3, and a customer-oriented publicly-offered quantity 5; a resource side data assembly 2 retaining time-series data about a resource-oriented desired quantity 7, a resource-side determined quantity 6, and a resource-side publicly-offered quantity 8; and a scheduling means 13 for newly setting the time-series data about the customer-oriented determined quantity 3 and the customer-oriented publicly- offered quantity 5 and newly changing the resource-oriented desired quantity 7 upon the updating of the time-series data about the customer-requested quantity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
