PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive seedling planting machine for sweet potato enabling manual planting of the sweet potato seedling without bending the body and dispensing with the hole-opening work of a film in the case of planting on a ridge covered with a mulching film.;SOLUTION: The seedling planting machine for sweet potato is provided with a grip attached to an end of a long arm, a seedling clip attached to the other end of the long arm and an operation mechanism to operate the seedling clip while holding the grip with a hand.
