PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining fence requiring less labor and less strength than those of a conventional construction method and capable of stabilizing soils such as filing slope. ;SOLUTION: This unit type earth retaining fence 10 preventing runoff of the soil, etc., by combining logs is characterized in that the multiple logs for comprising a slope are vertically or laterally disposed at intervals of an approximately diameter of the log and fixed by connecting logs 2 so as to be formed into a slope surface part 8, at least, a pair of support logs 3 and, at least, a pair of base support logs 5 are vertically movably installed between the logs for comprising the slope with the central part of the logs 1 for comprising the slope set to a support point, the support logs 3 project in the back surface direction of the slope part 8 with the end parts in the opposite side of the support point fixed to a lateral connecting log 4, the baser logs 5 project to the lower part in the back surface of the slope part and supports the earth retaining fence with the ends of the opposite side of the support point fixed to a lateral connecting log 6, and the support logs 3 and the base support logs 5 are set to turn at the support point and be foldable between the logs 1 for comprising the slope.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
