PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform quick and accurate coupling and fixing works in a struc ture in the longitudinal direction and by this metal fixture, for jointing and fixing an end part of a structural material in a butted condition in the periphery of another long structural material, by a metal fixture fitted in a groove 14 extendingly formed at the side face of the latter long structural material.;SOLUTION: The width of the groove 14 in its inlet part 19 is set equal to or greater than the width of a groove bottom 18, and the metal fixture consists of a fastening bolt 22 fastened by being screwed through a threaded hole leading from a bolt inserting hole 13 penetrating the groove bottom 18 from its obverse to rear surface and opening at the end face of the first structural material, and the head 220 of the fastening bolt 22 is seated on the peripheral zone of the bolt inserting hole 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
