CUT AND COVER TUNNELLING METHOD FOR WORK FOR BURYING PIPELINE AND THE LIKE, AND SIGN TOOL FOR ALREADY BURIED STRUCTURE FOR USE IN THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident from being caused by a driven sheet pile in work for burying the pipeline and the like.;SOLUTION: When the pipeline 3 and the like are buried, first, in test digging for locating an existing position of an buried structure, sign tools 10, in which paired upright bars 11 which have index rods 12 provided protrusively at upper ends are coupled together by a coupling rod 13, are erected in a state of sandwiching the pipeline 3 in between, near a position, crossing a sheet pile driving line 4, of the pipeline 3 and the like of the already buried structure, which are exposed in a cut-and-cover hole 6. After that, the hole 6 is backfilled; in subsequent main excavation, the excavation is carried out until upper parts of the sign tools 10 are exposed; the position of the pipeline 3 is located; the sheet pile 5 is driven; and the main excavation for burying work is proceeded with.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
