ORIGINAL WARRANT SYSTEM FOR PRINT PAPER, PRINTER, AND VERIFICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original warrant system that can easily decide an original/a copy and to provide its system configuration. SOLUTION: The verification device 13 is provided with a print paper read sensor 201 that reads a print pattern of print paper, a watermark information verification section 202 that detects watermark information from the read print pattern of the print paper for verifying the watermark and for calculating the remaining watermark amount, a generation management information detecting section 203 that detects generation management information from the read print pattern of the print paper and extracts the remaining watermark amount, on the basis of the generation management information, and a watermark remaining amount comparison section 204, that compares the remaining watermark amount calculated by the verification of the watermark with the remaining watermark amount extracted from the generation management information. The device 13 discriminates deterioration caused, when the original is printed out and deterioration caused by generation copy and warrant the original of the printed print paper becomes possible.
